What is the biggest split you've covered, and how you did it...

I covered the 6-7 just wednesday. I would say how I did it, but it was a fluke as my release was goofy on that shot...

My favorite to cover is either the 4-9, or the 5-7.

The 4-9 is fun because its so darn hard for a righty, the 5-7 is fun because typically I can cover it 40% of the time. I just move 5 boards to the left and throw my strikeline.

I like the 4-7-10 or the 6-7-10.

when it comes to picking up splits....a good rule of thumb for me, has been this: I'll move to where I think I should be standing...but then I'll move 1 more board left or right depending on the split. Forcing myself to move one extra board usually puts me right where I need to be.

ya know, I like that thought...I may have to adopt it!

my only concern is one of my main problems...move to adjust my line, then pull it/push it out totally removing my initial move from the equation!

sometimes I do that too, I blame it on psyching myself out lol
...especially if it's in a frame that's really gonna hurt to be left open.

I'm infamous when it comes to splitting in the 9th. lol
It's so heartbreaking to have a great, clean game going.....just to screw it up.
I'm going to maintain that it's the wood lanes fault!
I'll have to see if my theory proves true when I switch to a synthetic house in the fall lol

I like the greek church (4-6-7-9-10)... To leave it sucks because its horrible count but fun to shoot at...lol I can usually pick it about 50% of the time....

I had never left the (5-7-10) in my life until about a month and a half ago... and since i have left it 4 times with 4 different balls in 3 different centers... I really have no answer as to why...lol but still yet to pick it but its getting old..haha oh and i forgot to mention.. ALL pocket shots!!!!!!!!!!!

how the heck do you cover the greek church? I can never get all of them! I typically leave the 4 pin standing...

for a righty shoot at the 7 pin... the 4 pin will hit the front of the 9 and then slide in between the 6 and the 10 taking them out... most people shoot at the 10 pin side as i did for the longest time... BUTTTT the way to hit it is to actually shoot at 7... my girlfriend (who also bowls) told me and i argued with her saying that the 10 pin was the way to go... then i decided to try her way one noght she didnt come to league and i picked it up..lol so from then on have always shot at the 7.. (unless all i need is 3 then i take the sure 3)

Yea, it works...lol and i must say that it looks prety dang cool when it happens too...lol pins flying left, right, front, and back...lol

i made the 7-9 split ..i angled the ball to the corner where i put some spin on the ball ad the 7 pin played well off the back curtain an then came back up and hit the 9 pin......

I guess the biggest split I have gotten is the 6-7-10/4-7-10! I've also gotten the 6-7!
