League started tonight

Well my old manager and owner of my local bowling alley asked me to join a mixed league with her. So I went ahead and joined it. This is my first league since like 2002. I did alright for the first night: 166, 198, 198. Not too bad for a 165ish average bowler.

Well I have kept it up and my average is just over 180. I seem to have found a good way to throw the ball to get a decent amount of spin. Also, I had it resurfaced with a lower grit so it will grab more :)

This week its 39', then 42' then 44'. I did this league last summer, scored really well on the 36' pattern, but the 42' won out.

Yeah I would say I am out of my slump. I bowled a 193, 195 and a 188 on Tuesday night. I am feeling pretty comfortable with my throw right now.

Well I have seemed to settle into a 180-182 average. I'm still happy with my bowling, but I feel like I should be bowling better. Gotta keep working on it!

A 39 foot long oil pattern, A 42 foot long oil pattern and a 44 foot long oil pattern.

Been a while since I have been on here. I moved and didn't have internet. I have maintained my 180 average pretty well in the past few months. I bowled a new high game of 268!!! BUT the very next game I bowled a 161 and finished with a 202 or something. Gotta love the consistency lol.

sounds like my high school bowling career.
By the end of each season, I was about ready to strangle my mom when the word "consistency" was uttered.

Nice scores even with a 161 in the mix. It happens to all us. It is nice to rack up personal best individual game regardless of the other two. Keep up the good bowling!!!

Well, last week was the final week of the league. I bowled a 193, 247, 177. All-in-all not a bad week for me. We moved up two spots that week and got a pay-out tonight of $33.75 each! I know, I know, not a big pay-out. But at this point it was like making $30 for nothing.
