anyone have any tips on how to improve the mental game? I went to a tournament over the weekand and didnt do so well. It had me very low because I could find any line that was working. Thought I was the worst bowler in the world. then tuesday night at league I shot 690 so i felt a little better. How do you maintain a good outlook when your bowling like crap?

There is an article by Susie Minshew that might help you out with this problem. My good friend Colleen Becker sent it to me a while back and it really helps to improve your confidence. I'll try to send you the link and if I can't I'll get my husband Kev to do it when he gets home.

Hi there! I'm not sure what went wrong, but we'll try this : http://www.sportandme.com/docs/sports/bowling/evil_non_bowling_twin.html I'm not quite sure how to rename it, I'd have to experiment, but let's see if it works.

Dr. K used to be a sponsor of Let's Go Bowling and made regular appearances, but I haven't heard anything about her in a while. She was holding seminars about her "pillars" in tournament cities. I know in Kentucky they sleep on their pillars. ;)

thank you all for the great information. I'm going to read through all this and apply it to my game. I know I can overcome this hurdle. I never used to have this problem but as my physical game improved my mental game did not. thanks again

I have league tommorrow night so I plan on applying some of the things I've learned and hopefully it helps. I've spent so much time trying to develop my physical game that I forgot about my mental game. thanks yall

Thank you all again for the great articles. I have finally read through all of the ones I got plus the ones I found online myself and am going to put them to work on tuesday at league. I think of the mental and physical game that the mental is the most dificult to work on. But I have confidence that doing so will make me a better bowler.
