Ok this came out pretty good. This is photo of the oil absorbed into the track area on a balling ball.
I used a blacklight and set the camera to night scene and 400 iso.

Heres the same ball after cleaning with Clean N' Dull (Which I always recommend for deep cleaning the coverstock).
The glow from the track area has been reduced greatly ( I'm estimating by about 50%) and the non track areas are basically clear.

That's pretty cool. I've got a handheld blacklight I used to take on cave tours. I'll have to see if I can see any on my equipment.

I added another pic.
This is the ball after cleaning with Clean N' Dull. There's a noticeable difference in the intensity of the the glow coming from the ball now. The track area is nowhere as bright as it was.

Cave tours? Inquiring minds want to know...as a fellow Hoosier I've spent almost as much time underground as I have in bowling centers!

I didn't know Blacklights had other uses. This is incredible. I can put away all my posters and use mine on my bowling ball now. This is great, I have something to do this weekend. Thanks.
