Just curious what makes you want to be part of a Bowling Forum?

What do you like to see on a bowling site or forum?

First of all I cast my 4 selections. But honestly, what makes me decide on being part of a bowling forum is this,

Bowling has been part of my life since I was 6 yrs. old.( Now 55 ) . My dad was part of the Brunswick Crop. back in the 50's and 60's installing lanes. That's how I got involved . But deciding on a forum all has to do with the forum itself. A forum that is run properly and does not have alot of spaming and people bashing or knocking one another. The main reason is I love coaching and helping others improve in their game. It gives me great satisfaction and pleasure if I could make the smallest of a difference in a person's game . I have coached the youth of our sport and still coach them and adults. Free of charge I might add. ANy advice or input I can offer I will . There ar only 4 boards I belong to . This one , Hammer Message board which I moderate and Ball Reviews and Mr. Bowling300 forum.. I browse others but after I see what goes on I do just that Browse.

+1

But, truth be told, it's bound to happen sooner or later. It's just part of the internet. This is still a new forum, but one day, we could be looking at a couple thousand members. Granted, only a handful of them will be regular posters. But at some point or another, there will be some differences of opinion on something or other, and what makes a forum truly great, is how it handles adversity. One of the things I found most promising about this forum is it seems the regular posters all have a good attitude. There will be arguments and bickering, it's going to happen, but if the core members of the board have their heads in the right place, it won't matter and the board will be just fine!

On top of being part of a great community, I am looking to impress chicks I bring to the bowling ally ;) I am not even kidding. I am terrible at bowling and want to get better.
