Do you like cats?

We went to the pound to get an orange cat, left with a sick black one, but now she is better. Sometimes life works out different than how you had it planned.

I'm an animal lover in general. I spent a good chunk of my life around horses and other farm critters, rode horseback competitively. I've got 2 cats I rescued from shelters.
and hopefully a dog in the near future.

Wow that is great. It shows your character. When got got our "Fudge" she was sick with kitty Lupus, the vet said take her back, get your money, or trade her for a healthy cat. But after more money that I would like to remember, we did all that we could do to save her.

It has been months and she is at a very healthy weight and doing great in general. She is my wife's cat, as she has human Lupus. So when the vet told her about the cat, she knew they would just put her down. And she would not want someone to put her down, so it is weird how life works.

Right now, I've got my 2 classic American tabbies Jynx(14) and Muffin(7). Jynx was my first pet, I found him wandering around in the woods back in March of 94. He had been abandoned for a long time and obviously spent the winter out in the woods. The tips of his ears were frostbitten off, he was severely underweight, and had some pretty nasty wounds probably from scuffles with tom cats. I like to joke that I kidnapped him from the woods and made him my pet.
Muffin, I found in a cage in the lobby of our vets office. Her mother had been hit by a car and the vets office had bottle raised the kittens....so we adopted her.

I'm hoping that after we move and things settle down, we can look into adopting a dog...the kids have been begging us for a dog forever.

That is great how you "kidnapped" him and I hope you manage to get a dog as they are fantastic pets / freinds. Mil is our 2nd dog oour first was a powderpuff (min afgin hound) wegot him from a coupple who showed dogs but they basiclykept him in a travel cage, after we had him for less than a year we got up one morning and he could not move his back legs and there was nothen the vet could do he said it was because of the way he had been kept. I could have ***** the couple we got him from.

And I can tell Muffin is spoilt I can say that as our Millie is. In fact I think she runs the house.

Eh, both of my cat's are pretty spoiled...they'll lay on your feet/lap when it's inconvenient for you and commandeer your newspaper by sprawling out across it while you're trying to read. They're spoiled with love
