Dear bowler,
This year, the Senior Games will be organized in September 2009 in the Dutch province Zeeland, and an estimated 3,000 athletes 50 years and older from all over Europe are expected to join.
Participants will compete during this Multi-sport Event in no less than 21 major sports. This event is the first of its kind in Europe, a unique opportunity for the Netherlands.
Bowling is one of the main sports in the Senior Games 2009 program. Beneath one can find the specific information concerning the bowling competition.

Participation
The Senior Games Bowling Championships 2009 shall be open to all bowlers who are member of a recognised member of the European Tenpin Bowling Federation; who have Amateur Status.
Playing system
Players will play pre-final rounds of 2 x 8 games. The top 8 of each class play a final of 8 games.
