Can you guys recommend a decent ball with a decent price for a bowler just beginning to learn how to curve. I bowl straight right now but I am wanting to learn to curve it and the Columbia 300 that I use right now isn't designed for that. I can't afford a real expensive one.

I was Frugal and Went on craigs list and picked a few balls around $5 to $30 then matched them up on the internet on sites like Ebay and there I was able to see if I was getting a good price and to check on all the stats the balls had to offer.
Look around and you will get everything your looking for:)

i have a few "hook" balls that I am selling.. all are in great condition.. what weight you looking for? If you want new, you can try somthing like a Storm Tropical storm... Bowlingball.com has a couple for $56 right now.. those are entry level balls that are nice priced.

Thanks guys. I'm looking for a 15 pounder. I stopped by the pro shop here in town and he wants $102 for a Tropical Storm and $10 to drill it. I checked out Bowlingball. com, they had the same one for $73 but by the time I pay for shipping and the cost of drilling it's going to run about the same.

I did some calculating and $90 would have it at your front door in 3 days via UPS. $75 for ball and $15 for shipping. just something to think about.

Wow! I just watched a couple of vids on the Virtual Gravity. I definitely want it StormBowler13. I can send you some money in two weeks when I get paid. Please hang on to it. Can you post a pic of it? Wouldn't it be too much ball just yet? I don't even know how to curve it yet lol.

This ball will be gone by then. Im trying to get rid of it by this friday because i have more balls coming in. Link to pix below..

As for being too much ball. I have ALOT of polish on it at the moment so its really not doing too much in the form of hooking.. but out of the box It is the biggest hooking ball on the market right now... It may be a little more difficult to get the ball under control if you take the polish off..

Also are you looking to start hooking the ball with alot of revs? or more of a norm duke type style? If going for the low rev like duke you should be ok.. If you are wanting to start with high revs it may be harder to get the hang of with this ball.. Its up to you though..
