Less than four months after Lynda Barnes beat Sean Rash in the title match of Bowling's Clash of Champions in Kansas City, the United States Bowling Congress Team USA members return to the national airwaves Monday morning on CBS-TV to co-lead a segment on the CBS Early Show in New York.

They will appear during the 8 a.m. hour to offer bowling tips to the Early Show team including a live bowling demonstration on a portable lane that will be stationed on 5th Avenue. In addition to providing a bowling tutorial, Barnes and Rash will tell hosts Dave Price, Julie Chen and the rest of the Early Show team about the surging popularity of bowling and the sport's steady growth among young people.

Additionally, they will help create excitement for National Bowling Week by announcing the world record attempt for the most games bowled in one day that will be held across thousands of bowling centers on Aug. 30. This year's National Bowling Week is scheduled for Aug. 23-30, one day longer than the last two years because Aug. 30 has been added to set the world record.
