My wife has thrown a backup ball for XX years and doesn't want to change so I was looking at her ball thinking about a new layout.
A surprise which has me befuddled.
The track is on the left side of the finger holes when the finger holes are up, thumb down. I would have thought the track should have been on the right side.
Is the track position being on the wrong side (if it is wrong) a problem? She does leave a lot of splits)
Is there a drilling pattern that would 'kick' the ball over to the other side or is this strickly a point of release problem? She starts with the back of her hand facing the pins during the backswing and then rotates the wrist clockwise to a thumb up position at release giving the ball the left to right motion.
Any ideas for a better drilling pattern?
