I made the all star team!

I found out today that I made my towns women's all star team! There are 4 area all star teams that are inducted into the Rockford bowlers hall of fame every year. 2 mens teams and 2 womens teams, each with 5 people per team. We'll be inducted at a banquet the first week of November. I'm so excited. Making this team has been a personal goal of mine since I got back into bowling.

What centers do you bowl in?
I bowled in every center in the rockford area during my high school bowling career. Now I bowl summer leagues at Cherry bowl and fall leagues at Dodge Lanes in Belvidere.

Both great centers. When i lived there i bowled those 2 plus carter,Fairview,Forrest hills, Park (loves park) state & madison and a center on 11th street i can't remember the name of What i remember most from the area was the fact that most men's leagues where scratch with a team limit

Yeah, the Rockford area is still a great place for bowling. I love park lanes, carters and forrest hills...but since my family runs Dodge lanes...I have to bowl there...or face being called a traitor lol.

Were having an amateur bowlers tour tourney at dodge in 3 weeks...so hopefully its a sign of good things to come for our center.

I used to sub in a 3 man on mon nights at Dodge after subbing at Carters. Always bowled well at dodge.
