Sorry to hear that. That is a pretty bad place to be injured pretty much no matter what. I believe Stormed1 has an injury in the same place, he could tell you a lot about it as he's dealt with it for 6-7 years if I'm not mistaken.

I understand your frustrtion withthe injury. My actual problem is with an ulcer on the bottom of the foot.Because of the disease associated with the foot problem (Charcot) my foot was a rocker foor. They did surgery to lengthen my achelies tendon. Recovery from that was only a few weeks. Yours is much more serious that my surgery. All I can say is do what the dr says and don't rush yourself to get back as you will risk a much more serious injury if you return to soon. My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. BTW even when you start feeling good keep doing the exercises they suggest, theirs a s reason for them

I know the meaning of pain and recovery. Stormed1 is right, keep up the exercise and don't give up.Good luck on your journey back to good health and being able to bowl again.

Thanks everyone, my doctor thinks thats what is it because theres so much pain, but it could still just be pulled or strained which is what im hoping for but i still have yet to get a ultrasound because we found out our hosptial are the only people who do it so im ganan have to go wait for 10hrs to get one -.- but ya hopefuly its not as bad as the doctor says it is :D but thanks for all ur support.

I can relate to your situation and wish you the very best. Many years ago I messed up my ankle and can still remember the therapy. Just do what the DR. says and don't get in any hurry and you'll do just fine. good luck Bill

I am currently dealing with Achilles Tendinitis. It's a real pain, so to speak. I was going to physical therapy, and after 2 1/2 weeks of that, this last Monday I was discharged from PT and was free of pain. Friday 1am, I wake up and it's sore. Not sure what I did, unless I overdid my stretches. Had league that night. It wasn't horrible, but I didn't shoot well. I have a tournament tomorrow and Monday, and again next Saturday and next Monday, and not sure how it's going to go. All I know is I am sick and tired of it hurting. I hope you get a speedy recovery, and I also hope it is just a strain and not a rupture.
