Congrats to my daughter on her first award!

My daughter Bekah got her first USBC Youth Award today, her patch for her first 50 game, which was actually a 59. Afterward, she bowled her best series, a 44-47-56 for a 147, so she will be getting another patch next week.

BTW, Bekah is 5, started bowling this last fall, and her league does not use bumpers. I plan to pick out motor coaches soon so I can be her driver when she is on the PBA tour after college.:rolleyes:

Thanks all. Angela, thank you for the encouragement, I try so hard (and sometimes fail) to not be one of "those" parents that I hate seeing when I umpire and referee. I try to remember she is just 5. I do get frustrated when I try to tell her what she needs to do, and she just decides "Nope, I'm gonna do THIS instead". Now I just let her do it and see it doesn't work. Sometimes she even comes to me and asks "What did you say I need to do?" LOL
