For many, spending time online seems to be an addiction or even enough hours to equal a full time job.

I spend about 4 hours a day online, what about you?

4-5 hours a day at work for work purposes, emailing people getting drawings from government entities. At home may be 2-3 hours if I get on at all.

So, that's a grand total of 6-8 hours a day.

Okay, I'll go back to work NOW.

Way too much. ;) First thing in the morning and then for a while after I get home from work. Occasionally at work if I can afford the time. Lots on my weekends.

I spend about 6 to 8 hours online everyday. I think it is too much and try to cut it down to 3 to 4 hours a day but it is tough with so many things going on the web.

I'm online basically all day :( It is where I work and play, unfortunately. I might make a vow to spend less time next year, as it is getting pretty ridiculous.

Maybe an hour or two. I like to poke around when I get home from work, and that's about it....

I'm on physically more than 12 hours a day - (Mon-Fri) Mostly work, but get to play while waiting for client projects to get done. Week-ends are hit and miss, mostly late nights when can't sleep or doing system updates to client sites, but overall, manageable, my wife doesn't see the back of my head as much as she used too.

Wow what kind of work do you do? Are you a webmaster? Hmm maybe if so I should seek your services.

I'm only online at work; my wife and I made a decision years ago to not get the internet at our home. If I need to, I go to the library and use the internet there...for free!!

That's like choosing not to get a car!!

I agree with the Mayor, and I would not waste the gas to drive to a library just to use the internet. But I guess if that is what you must do, then at least it works out for you comfortably numb.

Yes, it works out quite well; the library is less than a mile from my house, and by not being on the internet at home I am providing a lot of security to my family; the less ways you are "on the grid" now days, the better!!

Very true!! I keep trying to tell the family this, but they ignore me....lol
