Hi,

We are two guys from Sweden trying to develop bowling on the Internet. Today we are only working with Swedish bowling centers but we would really like to expand our services to include US centers as well.

What we do is publish bowling scores online, in real time, for free!
And also archive all games so people can search and view old games, with not only the result but also with what exact pin combinations left after each throw.

At the moment our service is compatible with Brunswick Vector but we are looking to develop support for more systems in the near future.

Our problem is reaching out to US bowling centers, that's why we post here. We just want to let people know we exists. We are doing this for free, we don't charge anyone anything.

Here you can see our Live Scoring in action:

And here is an example of a score card:

Do you think this is something for the US market, are you guys interested in this kind of information?

I know some of the final stages on PBA tournaments have manual live scoring, but here all played games would be covered, all the time. So anyone from anywhere could watch you play:)

Let us know what you think and if you are interested.

I liked the score card example. I can get a similar print out from my local bowling center which uses the QUIBCA AMF system. The main difference is that the information in Lanetalk's pie charts is presented in table form. I'm not sure if I have any interest in the live scoring.

Hi, John

Thanks for your replay.
What would you like to see to make you interested in this service.

Based on data from the online scoring system we generate reports on what spare combination's you have problems with, how many % X, /, multi and single pin combos etc.
More analyzing parameters are added day by day.

Like Threeripmin I would like to be able to look back at the games I bowled after getting home to analyze what I did. As I said in my earlier post I can get the information printed out at the service counter but that means waiting for the world's slowest printer.
I don't know if I would use the live scoring or not. Would I have to know what lane my friend is bowling on, or would I be able to search a bowling center for a particular bowler's name?

You can search on bowling center, name, team and dates and when you start the game on the bowling center you type your e-mail after the name and you get your score card on e-mail when you finish the game. If you have a account on lanetalk.com with same e-mail you get the score card automatic in your personal score archives.

lol i would like to have this today because in the 10th frame of my last game last night i hit my ankle(i throw the ball 19mph) and didnt even look to see how i finished. i just wanted to get some ice on it before it got bigger than a golf ball.

im really thinking about calling the bowling alley and asking for my score. lol
