For those here whom shot a bow, as well as bowl. I'm wondering if eye dominance seems to play a part in your accuracy. I'm very right handed and left eye dominant. But as far as hitting my mark I find I tend to miss it by a board most of the time. So I tend to try and just stay close to second arrow.
I'm wondering if my eye dominance plays a big part in it ?
Do you think like in archery I might try wearing a patch to cut out 1 eye would improve my aim ?

I'm like that as well. Right handed but left eye dominant. I think what is happening now for me is that I got used to it.

But I had similar issues of missing boards. What I did was to actually have my arm pointing further right (almost to the 1st arrow) while I targeted at the 2nd during the stance. This probably allows me to tell my brain that I'm pushing the ball outwards alittle more.

You might want to checkout Joe Slowinski's article on Eye Dominance.

I find that I do the same thing. But that if I move and find my mark I'm consistent enough to hit my mark every time. Whether it's a board right of where I "Think" I'm throwing it, it's still a solid strike :)
