I just uploaded three videos I took last night while practicing with my brother. So here are the 3 videos. The fourth one is the first video I took last month (nov. 20). The fifth one is my brother's "swing".

Thanks for commenting.

After watching your videos, the first thing I would suggest is taking bigger steps. You take very small steps for being pretty tall, and that causes you to stay very upright and stiff, and makes it so you don't slide very much. You want to be smooth and relaxed while bowling. Also, you don't bend your knee enough while releasing the ball. By bending the knee it will help you keep under the ball a little better and get better ball roll. Right now the ball comes off your hand a little late, and it doesn't roll off the thumb then fingers. It is kind of being tossed off your hand instead of rolled. You do come up the side of the ball a little, but that will be solved by knee bend, and keeping your shoulders on an even vertical plane with your bent knee. On the positive side of things, your timing is good, and your arm swing is fairly smooth. So you have a good building block there. If you have any further questions feel free to ask. I love to help!
As for your brother, he has a pretty good approach. His timing is good, his knee bend is good, and he appears to have good balance. The only issue I see with his swing is that his wrist comes around the side of the ball instead of up the back. This causes the axis tilt to aim farther toward the ceiling. This will cause weaker ball reaction, and deflection after contact with the pins sometimes. That is a much harder problem to fix via written post, but there are some great videos on youtube about axis tilt that may be helpful to him. Good luck to both of you!

I worked a little bit on these things and got 588 tonight. Don't know if it's the luck or the benefits of these adjustements!

Awesome! Bowling is a sport that you will never stop learning new things. Keep up the hard work, and you will be shooting the occasional 600 in no time! Good luck!

I went back practicing tonight. I put the accent on keeping de hand behind the ball and bending the knees. It went pretty well with 623.

I didn't put emphasis on having a nice and fast rotation, so the ball doesn't hook a lot, but I had been able to give it more speed.

Rotation isn't as important as consistency. Do whatever you can to get the steps and posture down, and then go back and add rotation. I would rather throw very little hook properly, than a hole lot of hook poorly. Congrats on the 623! That is a great series! Keep it up.
