Storm has too many bowling balls. This one is completely unnecessary. How many coverstocks can they throw on the same core and sell it off to people? It's starting to get ridiculous now.

Agreed! But I love my Virtual Gravity, and really see no reason to change.

Why not put a better coverstock on the best Asymetrical core Storm has ever made? The Virtual Gravity was back ordered by every distributor because it sold so much. I shot my best series at Nationals with the original Virtual Gravity, and I plan on bringing the Virtual Gravity Nano this year. The coverstock on the original Virtual Gravity was it's biggest flaw. It didn't have the longevity that you get from most bowling balls. The new one has fixed that problem! Trust me when I say, this will be the "ball of the year" this year. It already has won the Masters, and that will not be the last one.

Tom Hess won the Masters, not the Virtual Gravity Nano. He made the shots. Sure the ball may have helped him but its not the ball its the bowler. Period.
In my honest opinion buying bowling balls nowadays is like buying computers whatever you buy will become obsolete in the near future. So choose wisely when you do buy one. Storm shooting out bowling balls left and right claiming each one to be "the one" is simply a cheap marketing ploy used to fool people.

As someone who uses all of Storm's bowling balls. They all have there purpose. No one ball is the best for everyone. When you have to make balls for every type of bowler, you have to have a lot of different balls. I think that Storm does a great job of having balls with a diverse set of reactions.
The bowler does have to hit his shots to win, but to think that the ball has nothing to do with it is a mark of non-tournament bowler. As oil patterns break down, it takes the right ball to make the shot work for you. Sure, if you can hit your mark every time exactly, and turn your wrist exactly the same, you can probably do alright with any ball, but you won't win tournaments. Not even pros bowl a tournament with just one ball, and they hit their mark most of the time and understand the oil pattern migration. You need a ball that has the reaction that will give you the best chance to score high, and then you as the bowler have to use it wisely. Don't underestimate the power of good equipment, and Storm makes great equipment.

I saw a guy throwing the NANO at the AMF last night.
He had a really ugly approach and arm motion and seemed really inconsistent, but the games I saw him throw were 211 and 201.
