Yeah, definitely.

Gotta be one of, if not THE most trusted name online as far as bowling equipment goes.

I have never had a problem with them. The only thing I don't like is having to pay sales tax because they're in-state. For price and service there are none better. They may get equalled occasionally, but never bettered.

I don't know about Florida, but here in Connecticut you owe the state sales tax even if the seller is out of state. I don't know if they can actually check on it for any thing other than cars.

Officially, you are supposed to pay state sales tax for all purchases, but I don't know anyone who does.

Yes, technically you are supposed to pay sales tax on everything you purchase. States make it easy by forcing the seller to collect it on your behalf. Kevin, sorry that we have to charge you sales tax. I think it's a matter of time where the government makes all internet retailers charge a national Internet sales tax. At which point, I am hoping that the state tax falls off and the government divvies the money appropriately to the states. There are too many transactions being completed online where government is losing money.

Plus that will bring a more level playing field to online competition. It's harder for us to compete in FL because of the tax issue. However, you are also more likely to get your product in 1 day vs 3-5 days with us. :-)

No big deal, John, it's just an accident of where I live. :) And yes, purchases arrive much quicker. Barnes and Noble also charges FL tax, but they take their sweet time delivering. And you really think that an internet purchase tax will eliminate state sales taxes? When do taxes go down here, unless you're filthy rich? I'm calling our governor "Silent P."

I have ordered 2 balls from them and some accessories and so far so good. I got one of the balls with a little longer pin than I was hoping for but it was also on clearance so I didn't expect too much. Otherwise great service and the best site to navigate and compare balls. Still wish they would do videos on sport shots or nationals patterns in addition to house shots.

I have ordered many times from bowlingball.com and have never been disappointed. One time I ordered Dexter shoes. They no longer had my size in that model and the model was discontinued. They called me to see if it would be alright to send the better model in my size instead. I really appreciated the update and obviously didn't mind getting better shoes at the same price.

You can definitely trust bowlingball.com. Should probably re-name the thread at this point so it doesn't look like there is any debating that to someone casually scanning the forum.

I would think you would pay between 20-30 dollars american for shipping given the weight of the product.

I like bowlingball.com I bought a bunch of accessories and my 2-ball bag as well as my add a ball bag and my Dv8 misfit. One thing you might need to watch out for is in the checkout when they give you options if you checkout on their page (or paypal but it basically stays on their site) the free shipping is automatically selected (well for me it was) but if you click the link that say checkout with amazon. Amazon because amazon loves to have the one-day shipping clicked you will pay a ridiculous amount in shipping more than the ball maybe. I bought my Dv8 misfit and just kinda rushed through cause i bought alot from bowlingball.com on various orders that when I switched that 1 step (just cause I was lazy to input a different card info). my misfit was $192 and I woke up the next day with a look of oh my god what did I do. So just check out on their site or if you do click that amazon link make sure you check the shipping.

Just bought new shoes and a new bag tonight from bowlingball.com... ABOUT TIME!! My bag is the biggest piece of garbage. I had it before I quit bowling 5 years ago, and now it is pathetic. 3 Ball roller and it won't stand up on its on, the bottom is ripping out, handle is all jacked up, flips over on the slightest bump, and the dividers are PATHETIC, never work. The bowling balls just sit on each other. So finally, because I cashed in that tournament last weekend, I can get a new bag. I just ordered a new DV8 3 ball roller. Also ordered the new Dexter SST 6 LZ Black/Stone shoes. My shoes are very old too and don't have the changeable sole and heel like I want. As many bowling alleys as I have been bowling at lately, it's frustrating going to an alley where I slip and slide all over the place and can't do anything about it. It'll be nice to be able to change my sole so I won't slide as much. Can't wait till the bag and shoes get here.

I was just wondering if anyone on here that has bought
a bowling ball from bowlingball.com and they have all of
your ball information on file like span, pitches,etc.,etc. I
was just curious if anyone here has let them drill the ball
for you?

If so did they do a good job of drilling it to fit your hand
and was it drilled to do what you wanted it to do?

Quite annoyed, we just bought a ball from there and they didn't honor their own $5 coupon code.

Give them a call or email and they will take care of it. Computer glitches happen but they will stand behind their word.

That's what I thought so we called and they said they can't honor it since the ball can't be sold for lower than what they sold it for. Doesn't make sense to me. I figure they drop ship their balls but still..
Otherwise I like them but kinda bummed about $5.

might have to do with new laws internet shops have to deal with, where they can't sell products for less than a certain amount. some places would sell certain things at less than they paid for them just to get you to buy online instead of at real stores. as for balls, a pro shop might pay 100 for a ball, and sell it for 120 lets say. online shops now wouldn't be allowed to sell them for less than a certain amount, which may be why they weren't allowed to honor your coupon?

Yes, that's exactly why they couldn't take the $5 off.

had a feeling it was something along those lines. seems stupid to not take off a meesley 5 dollars unless it's a legal reason
