Just an ol' urethane AMF Classic 3SD. (It used to belong to someone named Cindi. XD) It's heavier, though, a little over 11 pounds, so bowling with it might give me a better game after practice. Someone suggested I use my other lighter ball to pick up spares with.
Can someoen tell me what the three dots on the top of the ball are for? Decoration, or some performance use?

And to carry it, a bright yellow Ebonite bag (on clearance/sale at Dick's Sporting Goods).

Why not a double-ball bag? I can't afford a rolling one. I wanted an ol' double carry bag, but no one seems to have one. :(

Nice addition.

First, don't switch back and forth between the two balls, because they're different weights, it'll likely throw your timing off.
Second, the three dots are there just for decoration.
Third, 11 pounds is still really light in terms of carry potential. If you can comfortably throw a heavier ball, I would suggest you try to get one if you really wanted to strike more. If you could move all the way up to a 15 pounder, I would say you'd average at LEAST 10 pins higher. Of course, if you can't handle the weight, you shouldn't because you don't want to hurt yourself.

Anyway, looks like a nice ball, definitely an oldie, have fun bowling!

Thanks. I had to get a foam insert for the thumbhole. It was a big too big, but the insert really helps me to keep a better grip on the ball. It's a little hard for me to bowl with it right now, but I'll get used to it with some practice. I hate to get rid of my lighter ball though. I can still use it, but the heavier ball will give better scores I know.

And I reeeeeeally can't see me using a 15 pound ball. I'd end up breaking something. xD

You didn't have it re-drilled at all? Throwing somebody elses ball that isn't drilled to fit you is comparable to throwing a house ball.
And don't get rid of your lighter ball, save it for someone else who needs a ball to start out with, like a little kid.

Throwing a heavier ball(up to 15) will increase your scores, but if you can't do it, no problem! Bowling is just about throwing a ball and having fun!

I'll have to wait to have it re-drilled. It's comfortable though. Once I get a little extra money I might have it redrilled.
