if you have a prodigy and the nano with weight and drilled the same, would there be an advantage with the nano over the prodigy,if any? right now i use the prodigy and thinking of getting the nano.

The NANO will be much more aggressive. It will also hook earlier due to the solid coverstock opposed to the pearl with ETM that the Prodigy has. The VGN will also be more angular due to the asymmetrical Shape Lock HD core as compared to the smooth symmetrical Centripetal core.

Another good option would be the Critical Theory. This is the most aggressive ball I've ever seen on the backend. You can definitely open it up with that one. But the NANO would be great too!

I own both. The Nano is much more ball than the prodigy. It reads sooner, eats oil up like crazy, and has more power through the pins.
I would recommend not drilling them exactly the same though. It is good to get a few different layouts in your arsenal. Just a suggestion.

right now i play down (10 brd , standing @ 20-24) and in and if i miss a little outside, the prodigy we make it back. what might you suggest on drilling the nano to play more of an inside line?

I would need more info on your bowling. Rev rate, ball speed, current pin location, etc. Personally, I like longer pins (5") for asymetrical equipment to play the inside line. It really depends on the bowler though. Fill me in with your info, and I will give you a suggestion for pin placement.

A guy in my league has both. He starts off with the nano, and as the lanes break down he switches to the prodigy. He did change the surface of the nano to a pearl cover. Not too sure if the drilling is the same or not. He says he loves the nano way more than the prodigy though.
