Hi From Maine

A quick hi as the Nexus thing finally prompted me to register. My name's Tony and I'm from Maine (although not originally). I bowled for a season about....15 years ago then didn't return until last season starting off with a regular drilled plastic ball (which didn't last long as a main ball) and now primarily using a Taboo with a Morich as backup. The hook's still a little inconsistent, although getting better and I'd love to up the revs just a little but that too is slowly getting there. Score averages are only in the 160-170 range (depending on league) although I finally broke the 600 series in league this year.

Congratulations on the 600 Series, As for the taboo Iv'e only heard positives about that ball! Well Welcome to the board keep up the good bowling!

Thanks for all the kind words. Hit another 600 (625) last night so finally settling down I think and the much needed muscle memory is kicking in now I'm changing/correcting less stuff.

As for the Taboo I'm still having issues with that not hooking as well as it did even after a resurface. But then as mentioned I'm not a hi rev bowler and perhaps feel it more than those that are. However, the Morich Mania (granted a heavier hooking ball anyway) is as good as ever and an older ball. On drier conditions though the Taboo's still fine so will be kept for those I think.

Welcome to the site littlelegs. You're picking the game back up much quicker than most I'd say. Which Taboo did you buy? I heard they're both nothing short of amazing.
