Anyone else taken it more or less for fun? Just curious is all. I'm thinking of taking it for a combination of a personal achievement, knowledge I may be missing to help improve my game and possibly informed comments if ever asked by fellow league players etc.
So anyone else taken it for more sort of...personal reasons as opposed to working in a pro shop/alley/manufacturer? How did you find it?

Never have taken it yet but would like to try someday it would
be more or less for fun on my part.

I passed it last year. It does have useful information on the fundamentals, and on the psychology of coaching. The problem I had was on the tests when you're asked to analyze a short video clip. I was getting a view screen of about 2" by 2" and couldn't figure out how to enlarge it.

I can see not being able to enlarge the video being an issue so that's gonna be worth bearing in mind when I do it. Is the test timed in any way? I'm often involved in producing web video so have a lot of tools kicking around to grab embedded stuff as a download which would make enlarging it easier (oddly enough mainly to make sure people couldn't do that with some of the stuff I had to put on the web) :)

I figure the same. $50 isn't a huge investment and as John says there's bound to be some information in there that I've either forgotten I've read or didn't know in the first place. Having to learn it properly for a test also re-enforces much of the info.
