What are some good Bowling Books?

Anyone have any suggestions for a favorite bowling book for helping to improve a game to anything about bowling. This includes magazines.

There are a bunch of resources out there. Revolutions II by Chip Zielke is a must read if you want to understand ball reactions, and drilling. Bowling Execution by John Jowdy is a series of instructional essays by one of the great bowling coaches. I'm reading and re-reading Joe Slowinski's Bowler Reference System is a good one for learning how to adjust your ball reactions by varying your hand and finger positions. Anything by Fred Borden is good but they're harder to find. Bowling This Month is a great magazine to subscribe to.

Trying to find that Revolutions 2 book but cant seem to find it. Only on amazon for 20 but that is it any where else they may have it for cheaper.:confused:

It's a niche book with a small volume published, it's hard to find cheap. I paid $24 for mine 7 years ago.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm always looking for new reading material and wondered about the magazine. Came close to subscribing to it and was going to ask if anyone else had before doing so :)

Great magazine, there's almost too much information to process. There are a bunch of coaches who contribute articles. Susie Minshew, Ron Clifton, Joe Slowinski and Dean Hinitz are just a few of the well known names that have written articles in BTM.

I don't think that it's even 100 pages long. For me it was worth the $20 to gain an understanding of modern ball technology, and the difference between layouts at the time. It also goes into altering the surface of the ball. You can probably gain the same knowledge by searching the web. You don't need a high level of expertise to understand the main points of the book.
