HOPKINSVILLE, Kent. – Adam Meader, a 16-year-old in the High School 2008 League at Cedar Rapids Bowling Center, just posted the highest series of his life and his first 300 game…all with help from his brand new Raw Hammer Psycho bowling ball.

Meader, who has actively bowled in two summer leagues this year, told a reporter with the Cedar Rapids Gazette newspaper he joked with his brother-in-law that his new ball would help him roll his first 300 game and his first 800 series. Rolling a 300, 279 and 274 (854 series), he set a Cedar Rapids youth record and missed tying the state record by one pin. He opened with 18 strikes and rolled a total of 33 strikes in 36 frames. Meader posted these fantastic scores on the very same day he bought the ball.

“I think it’s (the Psycho ball) is a keeper,” he said.

The teen bowls on the Jefferson High School team and will be a junior this year.

Congratulations Adam! Nothing Hits Like a Hammer!®
