SO whats up guys, ive been bowling now for a couple of months and thought it would be a great idea to learn to hook the ball i think i am ready, i am going to list a couple of bowling ball names that have caught my eye while doing research. i want a ball that it not extreme for the type of bowler i am right now and that isnt to dull and worthless for me it has to have some power for where i am at in this sport basically dont want a cheap ball i want a ball that will last me awhile. below are a lsit of balls i have grown to like and thought mybe if i get advie on each one or which one is better or w.e than i would feel better. i know everyone has been talking about the slingshot by brunswick as a GREAT ball for beginner bowlers whoa re leanring to hook but i am not so into it for some reason. i will list the bran names i thought i would might like so please give me advice and state maybe which one you think would be perfect for me.
1- Ebonite Cyclone
2- Hammer Vibe
3- columbia freeze
4- Track 300T or 300C ?
5- brunswick avalanche

those 5 i have grown to like and look really nice im just trying to figure out which would be best for me i want soemthign that will have power but not to the extreme i want somethign that is great and an all around good ball for a beginner/intermediate THANKS!

Hi Mi5hka- as beginning or low end balls go, I throw a Storm Tropical Breeze (which is soon to move to my spare ball) I have guys in my league who throw both the Cyclone and the Freeze with good results...actually if I didn't get my Storm I was eyeing the smooth look of the Cyclone. All reviewers are going to say that one or the other is "awesome" mostly because unlike a house ball it will be drilled for you (which will make all the difference) Basically, there is no "wrong ball" just get one and go!
