ok soo when i come out to my leauge my freeze ends up being my most hooking bowling ball and it only a entry lvl ball drilled for length with strong arcs and my kinetic pear and blakc widow are drilling for massive hook but they dont move much anymore and i get then cleaned and resurfed after every 60 games but also my freeze is brand new too soo can anyone tell me anything that might be going wrong with my balls...

Well, even though the Freeze is an entry level ball, but it really does have good performance. If you're bowling on a medium to light condition, this ball can really hook. I for one had 4 brand new Black Widows which I loved, but when I got the 50-60 game mark with each one, it was game over. Even regular cleaning and sanding to original finish didn't save them. It's possible this has happened to yours. The Kinetic Pearl isn't a very aggressive ball and the Hawg never hooked as much as they advertised. It's very possible the Freeze is your strongest ball.

I agree with the Mayor, except my black widow still hooks like new. The freeze is an amazing ball for the price as a friend of mine has one and it out hooks everything else he has!!

His arsenal consist of a Track kinetic energy, Columbia Momentum Swing, Hammer 3D offset, black widow bite and his Columbia Freeze which out hooks all the others.

I think I need to buy me one :)

ok thanks for that but my hawg use too hook like crazy i was throwing it form a 30board out to the 5 and it was giving a big snap to the pocket and i shot my first 300 with it but thing that sucks it was not in leauge it was pre bowling but know it dose not do much but im thinking i should go and take my kinetic pearl and get it cleaned out all the oil thats in it after the 60 game mark and maby with my black widow too....

but no my freeze is a entry lvl ball but it hooks like a high end ball on heavy oil i have to stand at the 5board and it will still go brockling but i cant cross boards with it causes its also drilled for length with a strong arc soo it will slid but notgive as much of a snap at the backend

Have you had the oil extracted from them recently? All the balls mentioned are sponges as ar as absorbtion goes and if they are full of oil they will loose their hooking abilaty. ALSO IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH OIL ON THE LANE FOR THEM THEY WILL BURN UP (USE ENERGY TOO SOON) AND NOT HOOK

stormed1 i did what u sead and i have taken my bowling balls up to the pro shop there getting the oil out of them soo we will see how much oil comes out and see how much better it hooks but even on dry lanes all my bowling balls even my freeze that has only had a total of 7 or 8 games used on it dose not even move on dry much it seem too jsut slid and not snap at the end

I have hammer sting. When I first got it would snap like crazy. I called it a hook n box. I swear the thing should have came with a left turn signal. But 3/4 through the league it was not hooking as much. I now have it resurface and deoil every 60 games. It still does not hook as much as it did when I first got it. Nothing beats fresh cover stock on a ball. I had the ball going on 3 years. The last time I had it deoiled and resurface I had the guy to use a 1000 grit pad. According to the spec factory finish is 2000 grit pad. You might want to have yours refuraced with a little bit more agressive sand paper. This might help. Keep in mind it my cause the ball to hook a little sooner. Good luck and Good bowling.

ok hammertime i will take that in mind but every time i take my bowling balls to get resurfaced to keep the hook in them i get the proshop to put what ever the 2nd down grid with abolon is and then put a polish on it then the top abolon like brand new then i get him to put factory finish polish makes the ball like band new out of the box but i have not done that for awhile for my black widow cause i have rarly thrown it till down since i came back to a circles thumb from the oval thumb that my hawg has
