hey it is alot different tell you this when i use to bowl on wood lanes it was abit easy but when i bowled on some synthetic lane myintire bowling just changed and u have to adjust hard go the difference of the lanes sootell you this befor you go to your turnny find a place with wood lanes and try a few shots itwill feel much different i tell you that soo dont take a major aggressive ball caue it will move to much and the breakpoint on woodlanes will change

Wood lanes create more friction than synthetics, so the ball tends to react earlier giving you more overall hook.

So make sure you have with you a smoother reacting or later reacting ball. Depending on conditions You might have to move your target closer to the pins. Also your starting point and target might need to move toward the center of the lane.

Also if the wood lanes have a overlay, there will be even more friction. Overlays are soft and the the ball will have a big foot print, which generates alot more friction. Plus if they didn't prep the lanes properly before putting on the overlay, there can be a track in the lane.

yeah bowl1820 ead it better then i did the ball that you should like of taking is a entry lvl ball like the columbia 300 freeze cheap and jsut get it drilled for length with a sharp backend or a strong arc mine with a strong arc and i can make it will move abit and this those layouts the sharp backend is for medium oil and the strong arc is for light or medium soo that drilling layout would be perfect for any type of wood lanes
