From what I've read the sunset strip pattern is a 40 ft pattern. If her shots are rolling out then she might not be catching enough oil to retain energy. All of the balls in her arsenal are meant for med-heavy to heavy oil, except for the Cell Pearl. If that is rolling out, then move in to find more oil. If you read this article from Joe Slowinski, the exit point on this pattern should be the 9 board, (40 - 35 + 4). I've used this formula on the pattern at my local alley, as well as the scorpion and chameleon patterns and it does seem to get me in the right area to score well. http://bowlingknowledge.info/images/stories/slowinski_btm_june_2007_36-41_3point_targeting.pdf

I concur with JerseyJim. It sounds like the balls are not sliding at all and are catching way too much friction right from the start. She bowls very low, boards 5-8. On this pattern that's the area where I'd look for the break point. My guess, not having seen her throw, that a line of 12-8 would be more appropriate, it's not a high rev player line, but should be quite controllable.
What I mean by line is, board 12 at the 15 foot mark (arrows) and outwards towards board 8 at the breakpoint.
The formula JerseyJim suggests is great, there's a slightly easier one that works pretty much the same, the the pattern length and -31, which in this case would arrive at the same board 9.

ok by the sounds the ball dose not have enoph energy going down the lane have her move in a couple boards and try to find some oil and letit go down throw the oil cause from what u are saying form the 5-8 boards thats the most dryest on that pattern if you cross boards to that area it might get that snap back into the pocket but jsut because u went threw the oil and your ball did ot lsoe any energy going down the lane soo have her move left about or try to crosss boards but not many if u have never done it befor
