Guess I'll start this thread for the week.

Last night shot 248-258-258 for a 764. Very first frame left the 4-6-7-10, and got 9 out leaving only the 10 pin standing!

Nice bowling.

Bowled last night the 21st.
Walked in and found out it was position night.
We ended up winning the 1st quarter.

My team is comprised of a:
1) 78-yr-old lefty (143 average)
2) 69-yr-old righty (178 average)
3) Me 61-yr-old lefty (181 average)
4) 45-yr-old lefty (161 average)

We only lost the 2nd game, bowled 1220 (hdcp), lost by 9 pins

I had a good night shot: 202-223-278 = 703

No. 1 bowler was stellar: 202-199-149 = 548

Can't remember what the rest of the team shot.

They were happy, 2nd year in the league and they won a quarter.
It's my first year bowling with them.

Was using my storm domination the entire night. For spares, I use a columbia white dot.

It was another humbling experience Tuesday evening. Shot a 546-cant seem to pick up the ol' 10 pin with the Track Rising. Might be time to get a plastic that doesnt move...

However, my teammates were stellar. On Monday night, our leadoff man had an 838 (279,289,270) he hit his ankle in the 9th frame of the 3rd game-otherwise he was perfect. Then Tuesday night, our anchor man went 223-300-278- 801. It was his 6th perfecto this year and 4th 800. Team-wise we shot 3298 scratch.

I truly feel that starting threads about how one bowled for any given week is crowding the boards and should be stopped.

We as everyday League bowlers are never to achieve any sort of glory or stardom, and again I think that threads attesting to one's success or failures should be kept to one's self.

AND no it is not because I threw a:
575 on Sunday
or
505 on Tuesday

WE all have...ummm.....well...have to be....ahhh... I got nothing.

OKAY, Okay it is because I had a crappy week of bowling and others didn't, that I just want to take my balls (bowling) and go home & pout like a sour puss. :mad:

And finally if you have gotten this far without starting a flame posse on me, I am JOKING. :D :D :p

Sorry I have not posted my scores for the last few weeks, but they have been less than stellar.

However, last night was my best night yet this year.

I bowled a 103, 135 and a 159. I had a 397 series and my average improved from 110 to 113.

And when I left, I was leading in the high over jackpot for handicap. With my 159 game and my 72 handicap, I had a 231.

Better this week (10/28)! Except the dreaded 10-pin. Made 7 of 9 10-pin and 2 of 2 7-pins....592 total...
For some reason- all season I've had problems making the 10, then it started clicking last night.
