Jason Belmonte fired the first 300 game of the PBA World Championship
Perfection was reached during day three of qualifying at the PBA World Championship as Jason Belmonte of Australia, fired a 300 game during game two of the block. Then moments later, the crowd shifted to a few pairs over where Dino Castillo threw all three strikes in the 10th frame to shot 300.
Belmonte, the two-handed sensation is currently in fourth place in the standings at +498, averaging 227. Castillo is in 38th place at +184, with his 300 game enabling him to be close to the final cut of 53 players. The first cut to 53 players will be determined tonight after all three squads have completed qualifying.
