Yesterday I bowled a 216 with my Columbia 300 White Dot. This is tied for my best game ever. I had been bowling on a lane by myself for about an hour with my Hammer Rhythm and then 20 minutes with my Ebonite Cyclone. After this the lane was so dry that my Cyclone was way too strong and I switched to my only other option, my White Dot. It was as strong as my Cyclone on fresh conditions. I only used my cyclone twice and it was for some spares left of the pocket and I knew my cyclone would hook past the pocket and pick them up.

Good job. Our house dries up pretty quick so I usually use my plastic for the third game during league. Last night was our first night of summer league sport patterns. I used plastic for game 4 on the route 66 pattern.

Nice job. My highest ever with a plastic ball is a 287, and it was during the cosmic bowling with all the lights off. Had the first 10 strikes, then messed up the 11th

:D I guess that a lot of you were bowl after the age of the plastic ball. I got my first one in 1975 which was a Columbia Pro polyester that I bowled numerous 200 games with. This was on lane conditions where the conditioner was applied with a pump spray bottle, and cross-wiped with a special mop. I used to condition the lanes before league at my college.

A few weeks ago I went and bowled at a unfamiliar house. I nearly wrecked my equipment it was so dry. My 607a and 508a were useless. So finaly I went to my 14# plastic White Dot. 238, 215, 222. I went back to my regular house a week later, and I was struggling, so I tried the White Dot trick again. Fail, well at least it worked once.

I know what you mean.
My first 200 average season was using just a White Dot.
