I drilled my Fringe with a 65X50 degree layout and a 4 ˝ inch pin. I am very impressed with the performance of this ball. I have used the Fringe on multiple house patterns and sport patterns, ranging anywhere from 33-42 ft. On short patterns, the Fringe is actually controlled on the backend with a strong arcing motion. On medium to longer patterns, the Fringe still reads the mid-lane well, but it stores more energy for an explosive backend motion to create more pin action. The reaction that you get from the Fringe, for the mid to lower price range, is unbeatable! The Fringe gives me the confidence to give the ball room and trust it to come back strong from just about anywhere. The Fringe is also extremely versatile. It has quickly become one of my “go to” balls. If you’re looking for a strong reaction from a pearl at an affordable price, this is the ball for you!
