Very NICE!! At this moment I am working on what will be a floating/movable on wheels, butcher block table with shelf underneath it to hold supplies related to spinner. Then I will be able to in nice weather roll it out the garage door, and use it outside. I have a plug in just out side the garage door, and lots of privacy! Live in the woods, on small plot of land. I like you rack,,,, and the utility sink looks like it worked out great! Nice job!!

Thanks! The only thing I regret that the little entertainment stand I have it sitting on had wheels. If you put a little to much pressure the wrong way it will move our start tipping over. I want to take the wheels of so it will be a little lower and a little more stable.

You guys have my wheels turning. My basement has electric, water and a drain. I am visualizing the sink, spinner and balls all nicely organized down there. There are already shelves on some of the walls the hold supplies.

What are waiting for billf!?! The ball spinner had easily saved me well over 300+ dollars. Plus I get to experiment with change the surface on my balls. Take for intense my motiv sigma hybrid. I was look for a good THS ball for my house and this balls OOB was to weak, took it to 500 and it was to strong and then I took it to about 800 with the light grey scotch brite pad and the things a BEAST. Im average went up 9 pins to 231. And if I didn't have my ball spinner it wouldn't have been possible. Plus regular cleaning lengthens the life of your equipment and even thought you don't need a ball spinner to clean your balls it sure makes it easier and fun!!!

I've been doing them in the kitchen sink by hand. The wife said maybe a spinner for my birthday. I'm pretty sure she meant a bowling ball spinner variety and not the petite female kind.

anyway, is PVC strong enough to hold 3x 15lb balls ? because i read from somewhere that there should be a bowl or something like that holding the ball if storage for long as it will cost the ball to lose it shape.. any idea??

PCV is strong enough however, the longer a piece is the more it will flex and possibly break. If you want to make the cup style ball holders, get 4" diameter pcv pipe and have it cut in 1/2" wide pieces.

wouldn't that scratch the ball? sand it to make it smooth first?

I dont know if PVC pipe is great idea. As mentioned before i dont think it would be sturdy enough to handle multiple 14-16 lb. bowling balls which is the reason i went with wood instead. Making a rack like mine or getting together some sort of shelving with the ball holders are the best options. I could just see myself having a ball slip out of my hand and go crashing through my PVC pipe rack and all my balls taking me out in the process.

A rack is actually a better option. Ball cups will actually dent some balls if they sit in the same spot too long, and they can scratch the surface as well.

Suggestions
if using PVC pipe (smaller diameter) put wood dowels or broom handles in them to strengthen them.

Put something like felt where the ball contacts the rack to prevent it from denting the ball over long storage times.

Bowl 1820, you'll notice a printout of your sanding grit chart hanging up on my bench. Great reference tool.
