I am a high school student who has just found a love for the sport of bowling (and yes I consider it a sport!). For my upcoming birthday, I've asked for a Storm Tropical Storm bowling ball. I can't wait to get it drilled and start bowling with it!

I've bowled 6 games so far while hooking a house ball, with an average of 127, high of 143. Lots of splits and missed single pins, but I am teaching myself to bowl a hook with the help of youtube and here. It's exciting because I can see the potential I have for that average go through the roof! A few single pins, one or two more strikes, and I can be hitting 150 and 160 consistently.

I am joining a youth/adult league with my brother-in-law, but I think that might end up being a ridulous showing of 8 year olds with many gutter balls...... The only requirements were:

Youth: Must bowl with one hand
Adult: Must be out of high school

These criteria don't exactly give me the greatest hope for the level of play. But it is mainly so I will be guarenteed at least 3 strings of bowling a week!:D Hopefully I can encounter different lane conditions in the league and learn to adapt to them. So I will cross my fingers for some good teams and a few high scores!
