Well, the luck of the Irish was not on my side tonight. The oil pattern started out playable for about the first 2-3 frames of the first game. After that, is was all downhill. It was obvious the house decided not to oil fresh before our league based on the early roll I was seeing during practice. I tried to make several adjustments to get the ball to go longer, but nothing seemed to really work. The weather being unseasonably warm and low humidity didn't make things better. The usual transition with carrydown also did not happen. Instead, the heads just dried up rather abruptly. My first 2 games were a big struggle only managing to shoot 182 and 189 (throw in a couple of missed 10 pins just to amp me up even more). It's a night like this that I wished I had my old Matrix or Hammer 3D offset. The last game I decided to move in to a 12 board out to about 6 line with extra loft using my NVS. I managed to salvage a 613 series shooting 242. With one more week in the season and my team near the bottom, I guess all that is left is stat padding. At least I may be on the end pair which has been my best pair for the year .
