Tonight was the 1st league night that my girlfriend missed that actualy effected me due to her being on the team. Well we dont think she actualy broke her toe now but just sprained it really bad... But enough about that..

The past 2 weeks we have only lost 2 point (1 game) and started making our way back up the board after 2 sweeps the week prior. We are still carrying the highest team average in the league so not much handicap. We were in 4th place tonight 1 point out of 3rd and 9 out of the tie for 1st.

1st game i had the left lane down and struck every shot. Now the right lane not so much. had a spare in the 2 and 4th and then opened in the 6th. Made a slight adjustment and punched back 6 for a 226. Not horrible since the ave in this one is 204.. just took me 3 frames on that lane to realize that it just wasnt hooking as much and to play tighter.. DUH!! we won the game bout 68 pins. (2 points)

2nd game I had my line and it was still playing well. Ended up shooting 2 opens i think it was.. Ended with a 210. It was all good because we won that game as well but 60 pins. (2 points)

Now the 3rd game.. hmmmm.. I really dont know what happened here. in the 4th or 5th made a ball change to geta little more length and then really couldnt find anyhting until the 9th.. struck the 9th and 1st ball in the 10th and then open.. ugh!!!! 179 finish.. ouch... one of my teammates shot a 150 with 185ish average... that hurt, but mine didnt help either.. Well their anchor got up in the 10 with a strike in the 9th and punched the 10th to beat us by 10 pins.. The guy that shot the 150 also opened the 10th, so with a mark and good count we would of had it.. but i really cant say anything because earlier in the game i left the 1-2-4 then clipped the 2-4 out and just left the head pin standing... I was very dissapointed in myself that I could hit a dang head pin in 2 shots..

I ened with a 615 series and the team got 5 out of 7 points.. the 3rd place team didnt do well from what i saw.. so hopefully we keep moving up.
