Plus all the pots it appears you can buy into according to this sheet he posted

They must have a lot of money to throw away.
I must have missed that post. Maybe all the pot games make the payout possible but that's insane especially with 7 point system.

33 Weeks. If you win half of the points you would have 116. That would get you $2270 for the team. Usually last place would get about 80 Pts. for $1570. Highest ever won was 159 points. That would pay $3116. More if you win a half or roll off. I am amazed at the amount of money these guys spend too. Black jack started as a pot 3 weeks ago and will be worth $850 this week. Some one wants to run brackets soon also.
Did I mention that the house runs Texas holdem. $5 a hand and they have 10 boards. It is crazy.

Sounds like your league is about 50% bowling 50% casino. Nothing wrong with that

Boy I'm looking at the rules for that league, teams got to pay a $100 team fee (Sponsor fee I guess) the first night.

And that team handicap, it has basically 3 different team handicaps that can be used.

Team handicap is 90% of 1100 or

If both teams averages are above 1100 you use 90% of team difference or

If one teams average is above 1100 then the other team gets 100% of the above as a bonus plus the regular handicap!

    WOW BONUS HANDICAP pins!!!

Bowl I had never looked at the rules in bls. It is a little misleading. We don't allow teams in the league with over 1050. If they ever happen to improve that much the next year they won't be asked back. Never had a problem.

The $100 is paid at the banquet to hold your spot for next year. Don't pay and you might get left out.

The 21 game cushion and 10 pin drop rule keeps the baggers down to a minimum but nothing is for sure.
I rerated a bowler 2 years ago and he quit. I don't use the bls program for fees I use my own excel program.
