    Default The Misfit?

The pro shop guy said the Reckless would be a great ball but since it's not available right now to order, (out of stock)
    should I get the Misfit?
    He recommended it to me

I don't know where he is getting his product from but I have checked several sources and it's in stock at all of them. The Misfit is a good ball but fairly weak on medium-heavy oil. Great for medium to medium-dry.

if you want to learn I'm guessing this ball might be too weak.. but if your not looking at great hooks and playing on the gutter area boards.. it should be ok..

Eugene when I threw this ball at the gutter boards, it didn't hook the required amount I needed it too,
I have a lot of Revs on my ball

If you really wanted to throw a Misfit you could. You would just have to move your feet. Revs give you a longer skid and more backend. On a THS the Reckless would give you everything you need if drilled correctly for where you are currently standing.

I love my Misfit, but I throw what I guess is a "mild" hook. If you throw a bigger hook you may just want to wait the few extra days for the Reckless.

yeah, that's what the pro shop guy said, @billf the guy said he'll drill the ball pin up, if that's what I heard correctly, I've never had a ball drilled before, but he said that's where the core is pointing up, or it was the other dot, my memory is a bit scrambled right now, but he said for the backend hook that I want that would be the best way to drill it.

There is a lot more to it than just having the pin up or down. Ask if he is doing a dual angle layout and if so get the angles.

Most drillers won't go into all the intricacies not knowing if the purchaser would understand what they are saying.
