Don't forget the famous (or infamous) "The Blob"

There was an episode of "Smallville" where a kid is hiding from a killer in a bowling alley. Young Clark spots the bad guy chasing the kid in the machine works with his Xray vision and clocks the dude right through a wall with an pink 8-pound bowling ball. Great shot, not even a foot fault. Now that I think of it, why were the lanes open and unattended? Not even the police showed up.

    go figure.

I just recently saw an episode of "Rules of Engagement" where the characters went bowling somewhere. Was great watching one character tell Patrick Warburton "No, this ball isn't extra it's a spare ball. This ones for strikes this ones for spares."
High game: 232/High series 587. Arsenal: Hammer Backlash, Tzone Catchphrase: Those pins just got smoked (followed by the double hand pistols) Catchphrase performed rate: 0%
Faceplants on alley: 2 Reason for signature: everyone here has really fancy ones.

In the movie "The Family Man" with Nicolas Cage, bowling alley scene. I couldn't find the location of the lanes, but the movie was shot in New York and the Teaneck NJ area.

Also "She's Out Of My League" featured a bowling alley scene which was filmed at the Pittsburgh Athletic Club in Oakland, which I've bowled at.
