And you could buy two bowling balls and these two balls had to serve you as non-spare shooting balls, which two would you pick and why? Please no answers like, "I would pick "X" ball because "X" balls rule!" I want to know what qualities would make you pick that/those particular balls.

I would probably choose the Storm Vivid along with the Storm Fire Road. I would be able to use them in a wide variety of situations. If there were a longer pattern with a higher volume of oil, I would be able to use the Vivid. If the lanes started to dry out or if I just wanted more length and a stronger down lane move, I would be able to turn to the Fire Road.

I would grab the new Nexxxus. With it's pearl cover I expect a very clean ball through the heads and mid-lane. Giving the hype that this ball is suppose to be more angular on the back end I believe this combination with my varying styles would serve me well on a variety of patterns.

Now for the big shocker. My second ball would be the DV8 Hell Raiser Terror. Being less aggressive than the Revenge I might actually be able to use it at my home center with our old wood lanes.

These picks were with the assumption that I would not have to do away with any of my current arsenal. If that's incorrect let me know and I will have to think hard before picking

Storm Virtual Gravity Nano Pearl. Hands down. That entry angle blows my mind. I do have a soft spot for something older feeling, probably the Roto Grip Grenade for dryer conditions. Retrothane!

I would choose the DV8 Misfit for dry oil lanes which I use to play at night at the center which the oil has been used the whole day, and maybe a DV8 Marauder or Brunswick Versa-Max for slightly med oiling of the lanes.

I don't remember what other ball he has, but my one teamate has a grenade. tuesday night winter league there is a league right before us, so the oil is usually all burnt up and he'll use the grenade quite often

I would go with the Roto Grip Defiant, because it has the most versitile coverstock of any ball I have ever owned and it has the strongest, predicatable core I have ever thrown. This would give me a ball for anything from a house shot to a sport shot with coverstock changes. My second ball would be the Storm Hy-Road. It is a hybrid coverstock, with a consistent reaction that is good for short oil patterns, and would give me a more angular entry than the Defiant, and can take over when the oil burns up a bit. It would be a solid combo.

for me, Brunswick Nexxxus for heavier oil lanes, and then Brunswick Anaconda for medium to dry lanes.. that would cover all lane conditions, and i'm sort of a Brunswick man.. lol..
