As Daniel said there is a lot more involved in drilling a reactive resin ball
then there is in drilling a plastic ball. When your drilling a plastic ball you
pretty much just do a straight up drill which is placing the finger holes and
the thumb hole over where the pancake weight block is located and adjusting
for a little finger or thumb or side weight.

Now when drilling a reactive resin ball there are so many variables in where
the pin, cg, mb or PSA placements are located and where to put the balance
or weight hole if needed or as some call it the get back hole and etc., etc. as
it is a lot harder to drill than a plastic ball is.

I gotta be honest.. these prices are quite honestly way too high. I'd buy more balls (and get them drilled) if drilling didn't cost as much as the ball

I've never in my life paid as much for drilling as the ball. I would be willing to though if that's what it took to have it done correctly the first time. My Storm Ice was $84 including drilling, tips and thumb slug. Given the internet price of $70, I was charged $14 for the drilling, tips and slug. I'm not sure where you are getting balls for $50 but then again, you get what you pay for.
