Default I think I hate my DV8 misfit

Maybe I just don't know what to do with it. It seems to always come left of the headpin.. What line am I supposed to play?

Center of my shoe/foot, I think I was on 15 boards out from center dot to the left, then a little farther and a little farther. Tried a few different arrows but kind of the same thing happened. When it did hit the pocket, it was just... weak. Like 'poof'.

Good news is, I am getting accustomed to my new Tzone for spares and last game of the night I went an entire game with no open frames. Basically every frame needed a spare except for a couple.

Nobody can tell you just what line to play. Your style and the lane conditions will dictate that.

A basic rule of thumb is when missing, move in the direction of the miss.

If your right handed and you miss to the left, then move you feet left.

Right handed Stroker, high track ,about 13 degree axis tilt. PAP is located 5 9/16” over 1 3/4” up.Speed ave. about 14 mph at the pins. Medium rev’s.High Game 300, High series 798

Yes. Bowl1820 is correct. Move your feet left while keeping your same target. How much you move depends on how far left you are missing.

I know what you mean about the Misfit wanting to go left! I was getting nothing but Brooklyn yesterday with mine. When I finally figured out to move left, I got some pretty sweet powerful strikes.

There is video of me yesterday. It's nothing but Brooklyns until the 2:10 mark when I finally move left and throw a few.

About 5 minutes after I stopped taping, I picked up the 6-7-10 split. Doh!

Your bowling style reminds me a lot of me, my hand movement at the top of followthrough was identical last year ( it has taken me quite sometime to get a slide going ). I notice your feet are quite spread apart and pointing outwards..

When you say you are starting 15 boards to the left of center dot. Are you standing at around board 35 when you start (about 5 boards from the left gutter)? or am I reading that wrong?

Yep when I walk my left foot points mostly forward and my right foot kinda points out to the right and does it's own thing lol. My bowling approach basically mimics that. Combine that with a lack of balance, and sliding for me is going to be a long, LONG term project :-)

It sounds to me like the lanes might be a little dry for that ball. It might be going in to the final roll phase too early when it hits the pocket, which is why it looks weak.
