Default What currently is a Good Ball to get?

Whats a good ball now days? Haven't been bowling on leagues or anything since I was younger. Use to use rhino's and hammers. Just lookin for a good all around ball till I get back into it pretty regular and back on league.

Depends on what oil conditions you plan to bowl on. I have found the Roto Grip beserk & Defiant to be very versatile from medium oil-heavy oil. The Cyclones have been pretty good from light to medium maybe medium heavy oil. Also depends on if you plan on entering tournaments. Ask your local pro shop as they usually know the lane conditions in that alley you bowl in,but, also which balls will work good for typical Huse Shots as well as tournaments.

Something to use until you get back into a league...any entry level ball properly drilled to your hand. Brunswick Slingshot is one such ball and you should be able to purchase the ball with drilling and grips for around $100. I say entry level due to the lack of oil at most houses outside of league bowling. The Terror,Defiant, Theory and Critical Theory are all good balls but meant for a lot heavier oil.
