    Default Arsenal Question

    Hi!

I am hoping to participate in tournaments on a fairly regular basis. to do this, I will most likely join the local ABT branch and will bowl at a variety of bowling alleys with different conditions. With that being said, I know that having different surfaces is very important and was wondering is what surfaces should I have on my balls in order to be able to match up well with different conditions? My arsenal is as follows:

Ebonite Tornado with the pin above the middle finger
Brunswick Avalanche Urethane with the pin above the middle finger
Storm Virtual Gravity NANO with the pin above the middle finger
Brunswick C (System) Alpha-Max with the pin below the middle finger
Brunswick T-Zone drilled as a spare ball

    Thank you for any feedback,
    Casey

It looks like you can use a medium hook ball. The NANO and Alpha Max are both very strong with a matte finish. Without knowing your exact layout, I'm guessing your Alpha max reacts sooner than the NANO. The Tornado and Avalanche are for dry lanes. If you want to change the surface on one, I would recommend adding a polish to one of the stronger balls, probably the NANO since it already has length built in with the high pin. If you want a different ball that will fill the void, I would recommend a Hammer Taboo Jet Black, Brunswick Versa-Max or DV8 Marauder.
Bowling - it's easy when you understand all the physics beneath the surface.
    High game - 300
    High league game - 290 x3
    High series - 802
