    Default What a day!

Well, I had a tournament today (and tomorrow). Singles & doubles today, team event tomorrow.

The first game of singles, I shot my very first SANCTIONED 300 game!! About time! (Ok, it's only been a few months, but I'm impatient!). That brings my total to 5, and 3 since I've come back to bowling in December (3 in the last month actually). So happy I finally am going to get my 300 ring! Now I hope to shoot countless other sanctioned 300 games.

Back to the tournament, I ended up shooting a 227 & 226 for the next two games. Shot 753, and finished 3rd in singles and am going win cash! 810 won the singles, and the guy in second was only 3 pins ahead of me.

Didn't shoot so well in doubles, only a 600.

Then I had to start a new league tonight at a different alley... So I went there and shot extremely poor the first game. A 151 lol. 4 splits. That's the worst I have shot in league since I can remember. Probably some time during a winter league last season I did that. Nonetheless, I shot a 220 next game (with 2 more splits/opens) and a 236 the following game. So despite a terrible start, I still ended up over 600 with a 607. It's only the first week, so I don't mind. We still won.

But yeah, one awesome, unforgettable day of bowling. Exhausting too. Was either on my way, or at a bowling alley from 12PM to 9:30PM. Ready to get some rest and relaxation. Ready to get back at it tomorrow and hopefully win the team event.

    Thanks guys!

Yeah Striker, my average in this league I end on Tuesday is up to 223 now. I'm hoping I have an awesome last week and can get it to 225. So a 202 average is low for me, but I expect it to even out to where I'd like it here in the next couple weeks... and just keep at it.. It's only a matter of time before you achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Well, the good news continues!! We won first place today for the team event!!

First game I shot a 203 after missing an EASY spare in the 10th (my only open of the day), which ruined a 220something game. I rebounded though and shot 237, 247 the next two.

The teammate who shot the best for us today shot 730something, then I was second with 687, then someone else finished 2 pins below me and another 3 pins below me, and the last member shot somewhere between 615-625. So a good team effort. Someone on our team shot over 270 all 3 games.

What a great tournament it was!
