Combating ball surface

There is a guy in my league who every day before league starts he takes a 300 grit piece of sand paper to his 2 bowling balls. I can hear the ball crying when he does it... it sounds awful. But anyways every time we play him i just cant figure the lanes out. It would be easier if he was consistent but he just shotguns the ball out their. What i want to know is what is happening to the lanes? The balls he uses are older but have reactive coverstocks. Should i be playing the same line as him (which is around the second arrow) just with a less aggressive ball or move away from him completely?

dont play anywhere near his line but u an cross over it if u stqart crossing boards soo best idea is get a weaker ball stand abit left and move it out just past middle and let the ball come back in on its own it probly wont hit the pocket hard enoph but it will do enoph damage wher eu will get strikes like take a look at the video of when christ barns shot his 300 on the shark pattern he was useing agressive ballk the dark encounter i think and he was playing left left of middle and putting jsut to the right of middle and he shot a 300 try to that kind of line look on youtube and put in (pba bowling 2012 shark opening).

For the most part the coarse cover would be stripping oil off the lane. Making it drier in the area his ball travels.

Using the second arrow he is basically playing the "track". You could make a parallel move left into the oil and then use the dry area he's creating as a bump area.

If using a less aggressive ball and he's inconsistent, you would have to watch for the possibility of a over/under reaction do to the wet/dry areas he may make.

lmfao! I wish! Thanks for the help guys I will def be moving 6 or 7 boards to left next time I bowl him and try to stay away from the hole hes making in the lane.

Wow,,, I had no IDEA he was a ClOWN?? I would just walk up to him, look him streight in the FACE and SAY: Quit Clowing Around with the lanes!
