    Default Disappointed in myself...

Today was the final day of competition for my Wenesday AM doubles league and while my team-mate (named George) and I finished in 1st place, I was really hoping to take high average. I was within a few pins (not pins on average, but literally PINS) of total pinfall of the high average. When I got to the lanes today, I threw my benchmark ball (Reign Supreme) and immediately saw that the conditions were there a good series. It also didn't take long for me to see that it was unusally hot inside the bowling house...

Long story short, I struggled with my release all series long - sometimes I was handing-up and other times I was dropping the ball. I sweated my way to a 603 and finished with the 3rd high average for the season with a 198. Oh well, here come the Fall leagues!

Congrats on first place and sorry (and surprised) to hear you didn't take high average.
