    Default CBS Sports Network

Just realized that I have CBS Sports Network on my DirectTV package....Watching the GEICO Summer Swing right now...Badger Open.

Not to shabby...Nice to see Roto Grip going up against Motiv.

Motiv factory is back in some of my old stomping grounds in Michigan. Would love to head back there one day to check it out...

The Wolf Open is on Tuesday night at 7pm. I so have to remember to set the DVR since I'll be at an ice cream social :P

I cancelled something I didn't even realize I had and picked up the package with CBS sports in it for the same price earlier in the week.

I couldn't help myself, I had to order the sports package that includes CBS sports. There's no way I can go without watching bowling.

I just hope that CBS Sports has the ability to reach a market as big as ESPN....Their coverage of the PBA and College bowling is not that bad. Was actually a bit relieved at how well they covered Summer Swing.

On a side note, right after the College bowling coverage yesterday, they did a "Classic in Sports" replay of the Celtics vs. Lakers NBA final game Seven from 1984.....was pretty cool watching this again. Brought back memories of when I saw that game the first time!

I saw a recording of the event last week. Broadcast was OK, definitely not quite up to how ESPN was doing it. Sad to say, but CBS Sports Network is just not carried by as many providers and won't reach the amount of households to do our sport any justice. We will see how they do with the remaining events, I will still be tuning in and watching.

No they won't reach near the audience that they had on ESPN. ESPN is probably the biggest channel on cable television, and 98% of the people in the country don't have, or don't even know CBS Sports even exists

CBS Sports networks used to be VERSA . CBS bought them and changed the name. (I used to sell Dish network, that's how I know)
