Thread: Dull Finished ball

    Default Dull Finished ball

Thinking about getting the Ebonite Endure, or even the Rhythm. I need a dull finished ball. So has anyone used any of these balls? Or even another dull finished ball that would good for someone that has changed into less of a cranker and more of a down and in type person. So then i can see that hook that i am striving for. I really need it for league when the oil is medium to heavy and then when it drys up i can change to my Freeze.

If you're playing down and in, do you really need a ball with a dull finish? There are some fairly aggressive polished balls out now. Nothing wrong with the balls you said but there are other options.

I have a Roto Grip beserk that is pretty good, though I did take it to 2000 and put polish on it. I have heard that the Columbia Violent Eruption is a very popular ball that supposedly has a wicked backend hook, then theirs the Storm !Q Tour,The Defiant Edge(polished version of Defiant)I have the Defiant and it hooks on medium-heavy oil. You can take a look at these balls at youtube video of(Insert ball here)bowling ball.

if want something with that will go down and in then you should look at the 900 global the nuts(solid or pearl) both are anglar on the backend and hook nicly i got my 900 global the nuts solid drilled ith pin above and inbwteen the fingers and it will move so nicly going down dry lanes and when you think it would not hook it dose and hits the pocket so hard.

but then u can look at the DV8 hell raiser nice read on the lanes and a nice strong move on the backend.

I am quite happy with my defiant, it has worked really well on heavy and med oil.
